Dick Grayson protects the innocent and fights crime as Nightwing.
[edit] Origins
After his circus performer parents were murdered by criminals, young Dick Grayson was adopted by Gotham City billionaire Bruce Wayne. Grayson became Robin, The Dark Knight's partner in the war against crime. Years later, Robin struck out on his own as Nightwing in the city of Bludhaven. Batman soon found a new Robin in Jason Todd and later (after Todd was murdered by The Joker) in Tim Drake. By day, Dick serves as a member of the Blüdhaven police department, and by night... he patrols the streets as Nightwing.
